Are you a student, taking a gap year, or looking for an active part-time job with responsibility? At Klimbos Harderwijk, you can work as a Rescue Instructor in a way that fits your situation. Whether you’re looking for a part-time job alongside school or college, or you’d prefer a 2027 seasonal contract with set hours: both are possible. We’re starting the training program as early as January and February 2027, and you may also be able to work a few shifts as an instructor as early as September and October.
You help guests safely continue on their way when they get stuck in the climbing course.You'll be working at heights on cool attractions like the Free Fall and the Climbing Tower.
You have an active (seasonal) job with set hours and a close-knit team.

Klimbos Harderwijk welcomes individual guests, companies, and schools every day. Guests choose their own route and difficulty level, making every climbing experience unique. With spectacular features such as a 16-meter Free Fall, a challenging climbing tower, and various courses, this is a climbing forest for true adventurers.What will you do?
As a Rescue Instructor, you’ll have frequent contact with our guests. You’ll provide instructions, supervise, and ensure that everyone can climb safely. When a participant is unable to continue due to anxiety or other circumstances, you’ll spring into action. You’ll lower guests from the trees in a controlled manner and help them get back down safely.We’ll train you to become a Ropes Course Rescuer and teach you how to respond professionally and calmly in emergency situations. Your blue helmet lets guests know that you’re there to help. You’ll work closely with the team of instructors to ensure a safe and positive experience for every visitor.
Here's how you can apply for this position
- As a part-time job: Available at least one day on the weekend and able to work during school breaks.- As a seasonal job: Fixed hours are possible, for example, 32 hours per week through November, with the possibility of an extension.
