Climbing forest receives volunteer fire department

The Putten-Ermelo Volunteer Fire Department has had a youth fire brigade for many years. These are children between the ages of 10 and 18 who get a first-hand look at firefighting life in a playful way and have the opportunity to learn from the “grown-up” firefighters. Because these children may one day become the future of the volunteer fire department, we organize various activities with them.

This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming these brave men and women to our climbing forest during their camp. Of course, every firefighter—young and old—was up for the challenge of the obstacle courses. Even the 18-meter-high zip line wasn’t too much to handle! We were truly honored to welcome these future lifesavers to the climbing forest.
