Meeting new Barneveld alderman in Klimbos

Go Barneveld, the tourism platform of the municipality of Barneveld, met with the new alderwoman, Ms. Dorrestijn, yesterday morning. Over the past 12 years, Alderman van den Hengel was the one who gave the tourism sector in the municipality of Barneveld an extra boost. But now it’s Ms. Dorrestijn’s turn, as tourism will be part of her portfolio in the coming years.

Tourism is a key pillar in the municipality, and Ms. Dorrestijn was visibly enthusiastic about the initiatives Go Barneveld is undertaking to connect tourists to the region and the municipality. In addition, Erik Kroon, owner of Klimbos Garderen, located in the municipality of Barneveld, gave a brief presentation about his attraction, which draws 65,000 visitors annually.
