Young Entrepreneurs Harderwijk visit Adventure Park Harderwijk

On May 16, JONH visited Adventurepark Harderwijk for a tour. The entrepreneurs received an explanation from the project developers, Mark Lorist and Martijn Koppert, about the plans for Boekhorstlaan in Harderwijk. This location is the first food venue in the Netherlands—and perhaps even in Europe—to combine dining with leisure activities. “This combination is rock-solid,” says Erik Kroon of SOS Events, who is building an adventure park at this location in Harderwijk. “We plan to open our climbing forest and start renting out e-bikes, e-choppers, and mountain bikes as early as the end of May. KFC, La Place, and Burger King will open at the end of this year.”

The JONH entrepreneurs received an explanation of what a project developer’s process looks like and were told about SOS Events’ plans for this unique location. The location, the combination of food and activities, and the massive foot traffic make for a winning formula. After the tour, the entrepreneurs set off on e-choppers through Harderwijk and the surrounding area, ending up in the city center late in the afternoon for dinner.
